In 2016 I enrolled in Nash Community College seeking to become a nurse. I met a setback in 2017 preventing me from being accepted into the nursing program but I have not given up on my dream of becoming a nurse.

 

Instead of giving up, I applied for Nash Community's Medical Assisting program and I got accepted! I am currently in my second semester of the program and I am looking forward to completing the program this Summer as a certified medical assistant. After receiving my certification, I plan on applying and working at a local doctor's office.

I still have my eyes set on my goal of being a nurse-midwife and will continue to pursue that goal this Fall.
