This semester I started my internship at UNC Children’s Hospital and I could not be more excited! 

 

My program allows me to complete an internship instead of taking traditional classes so this semester I will be assisting two Child Life Specialists. I will help out with psychosocial support programs in the department including parent and sibling support groups, as well as helping plan the spring family retreat! I will also help patients recently diagnosed with diabetes along with other things. I am SO excited to see what this semester holds. Please pray for growth and learning this semester, as well as every patient that walks through these doors!
